FS: NOS Glass Moonroof - SOLD

SOLD FOR FULL ASKING PRICE - 07/09/2018

For sale is a rare find, out of my personal collection. This is a brand new in the box, NEW OLD STOCK, E30 glass moonroof. Fits all E30s with a metal roof - 318i/325e/325i/M3, etc.

This rare piece has been in dry storage since 1987 and is brand new in the sealed packaging. The box has some minor wear, but is all superficial. This item has an OE part number of: 89 89 1 000 220, and does not come with the sunshade (however, there are instructions included on how to modify your existing metal sunroof shade piece to act as the sunshade). However, it comes with all the pieces required for install, as well as an instruction manual with detailed steps on how to install. Here's a link to a copy of the same booklet, that "dude8383" was kind enough to post: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz5...NmVjBWWjQ/view

I have not removed the glass moonroof from the packaging and will leave that for the new purchaser to do as they see fit. I have taken pictures of everything included. If you need more pictures or information, please let me know, but I would prefer not to open the package with the moonroof.

Price is $2500 + shipping + PayPal fees. I have seen two used units sell on eBay for $1400 in the last few months, and it's not like these are exactly common, particularly in this condition, with all pieces required for install. If you have any complaints on price, please keep them to yourselves - I do not need to hear it.

Shipping is $100 in the continental US, insured for $2500. I will pack the hell out of this to ensure a successful journey to your desired shipping address. Local pick up in NE Portland, OR, is perfectly acceptable, as well.

I will ship this insured through FedEx, anywhere in the *continental 48 states*. Sorry, but no international shipping on this item.

Had a momentary lapse of judgement, had nothing but flakes, so I'll just keep it. It'll be a hard one to replace.

Your better off keeping it, thats a piece that once you sell your kicking yourself in the ass right after. The glass adds years of styling to the whole scheme of the car. Cant wait to see what else you have stashed away.

What really made me reconsider selling, were some of the ridiculous offers people sent. I took a step back and just decided to keep it. Maybe I'll find my elusive Hennarot E30 M3 one day and this would be the icing on the cake.

I wouldn't throw this on a henna m3 because I wouldn't want to take away any of such special color. Maybe on a Diamond Black metallic or Salmon Silver metallic or Sterling Silver metallic m3. A rare part indeed.
