    4.27 LSD For Sale! Would Ship!

    Hey all,
    I have a 4.27 LSD (rare) out of a 1991 318ic for sale. It came out of my m50 swap that is now boosted. The reason I'm selling is because the diff is way too short for the amount of power the car is making now, so I've moved to a 2.92LSD. The 4.27 LSD functions perfectly and is great for track cars or anyone looking to add a little pep to their step ;) some call these shorter diffs the poor mans supercharger. It locks up nicely and puts it down!

    I am currently attending school in Athens, Ohio but I will be able to ship out the diff or make an in person sale any time after the first week of March, that's when I'll be home. Feel free to comment or PM me with interest.

    Price is $650 picked up. Will ship at buyers expense.

              Pics coming soon. Diff is out of a 318ic so it is a small case.

                  You should verify that. The later models had medium cases in them. ;)

                          Pics? Also, was the unit recently serviced? Maybe rebuilt? And do you happen to know the torque rating on the breakaway point?

                                  I will be home March 10 to take pics. If you are interested and want to see pics before then, let me know and I can have someone at home take them for you, then ill be sure to post them here as well. I'm not sure about the breakaway point, or service, but the car has about 160,xxx miles on it and diff has been perfectly functional through the process of boosting the car and since I bought it.

                                          LSD was optional in all e30's afaik. Even my old auto had an lsd 4.10, yet most were open.
