Not sure why I'm not getting notice of posts here, but I am completely sold out. For an open eye strut just cut through the eye.

I know...it's been forever since I've updated here. Fact is, I haven't been driving her much due to an oil leak that seemed to be the head gasket and I just was not up to pull the head. I finally threw some tracer dye in the oil and found this...clearly a much easier fix.




While I was in there the water pump had a bit of a wobble even though it only had 40k or so on it so that got replaced and of course the timing belt. Being human I just had to deal with the flaking wrinkle paint and I actually spent a fair amount of time detailing the engine compartment. I'm not unhappy with the results...see next post for the pic
