Here's another:
Sorry I don't have more pics, it isn't in my car anymore and its not at my apt either
I guess you'll just have to picture it in your own e30 - when its mounted it is easily viewable, it is only blocked by the shifter in 1st gear, 3rd gear it is just barely to the right of the screen and 5th its no prob at all.
The monitor has what looks like a DIN cable coming out of it, with 2 video RCA inputs, the power +/-, and an IR repeater for any remote-controlled components (the eye is on the face of the monitor).
You could easily use the cigarrette lighter power for it, check out the .pdf link below for full installlation instructions
To mount it you take out the ashtray, and pop the monitor pod into place. The wiring is the hard part, and even thats pretty easy.
Here is the manual in pdf so you can see all the details on the monitor

crossovers were under my amp rack in the back seat area.
Steering wheel is the Mtech 2 suede wheel
The monitor and the pod are fused together, you would have to break the bondo to remove itBrian

If this is the same guy (and I'm sure it is as the odds of there being another guy around here with an E30 with the same setup as him and an '04 GTO) I've seen this setup. I bought a steering wheel from him a while back and he had the M3 when we met up for the transaction. The monitor and the pod look VERY VERY nice, like it belongs there. The color can't get much closer to the original. Hopefully this helps a potential buyer to buy but if not, Brian, message me with a price for local pick up of the monitor/pod please and thanks.Comment
