I had this head built in 2015 from bimmerheads and I've put roughly 15k miles on. No issues with it and never was over heated or anything. I wanted to go with a bigger cam, +1 valves, heavy springs, and forged rockers with my new step up and having all that work done to this head would leave my with a bunch of misalinous parts to sell so I decided to just get a entire new head built. I was was making about 430 awhp on this head with a s256sx turbo, I had clutch issues so I couldn't push it any further. I've talked with bimmerheads recently and they said this head will support 600hp as it is.

New valves(I don't remember if they are OEM or supertech)
New OEM springs
All new hardware
Duel pattern cam 280/274 cam
Welded jackets
Ported and polished
Heavy duty rockers
I will include the cam gear also
Including a MLS gasket
(I will be keeping the intake and exhaust studs for my new head)
I checked the head with a straight edge and feeler gauges and was within .002.
I also checked the head thickness and got 4.924. Factory new spec is 4.925(+/- .004) and a minimum of 4.909. So there's plenty of material if you wanted to have it surfaced.
Price is 1550 shipped anywhere in the lower 48
