    seatbelt light thingy in the middle....it's early 318i dash.. If one wants to remove it for the original appearance, there are 3 holes under it in the dash (one large and 2 small ones).

    Maybe that is the reason? Anyone is restoring early 318i? This is the dash...

            I think your onto something.

            Early 318i's aren't getting any love. Only the fancier models are getting the attention.
            If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!
