x100. It's amazing to see how a simple camshaft swap puts what was a proper AFR and ignition timing out of whack. I'm not even talking about large jump cam swap, 288 to 284 was enough to mess things up....Last edited by zaq123; Today, 04:59 AM.👍 1 -
M20 IX Getrag vs i Getrag

Should have done reinforcement plates there while at it. They have access hole you put the wrench socket from the other side of the subframe to bolt the mount is centered for the round hole only lol...Leave a comment:

ok, I cranked it up to 15 degrees and played with PIDs and ignition correction a little and got it idling super nice at 900rpm with +/- 30-40 rpm swing total around that target. Definitely helped with...👍 1Leave a comment:

For those of you with larger cams and higher compression builds, what do you find the best average ignition timing for the idle is? I'm yet to put this car on the dyno to see MBT ignition numbers.. Just... -
ok that makes sense. 4-6 degrees is hard to see without measuring but 180 haha...cyl1 cam lobes pointing up or down is kinda hard to miss. Can't believe they actually pass Schrick faculty quality control...Leave a comment:
