I just got another set of OEM BMW rockers.. all have BMW roundel ...10 came in the bag and 2 were separate. Those 2 didn't come with eccentrics/bolt/nut as those other 10 or the previous set of 12 I got...Last edited by zaq123; Yesterday, 02:51 AM. -

ITBs and brake booster
With ITB setup, vacuum booster gets its vacuum from only one runner, #3 cyl in the case of RHD ITBs. Rama states in his instructions that vacuum from one cylinder is such stronger than the vacuum block......Last edited by zaq123; 02-08-2026, 03:13 PM. -

you can put that cylinder valves in closed position, pull the retainer clip and slide the rocker to the side enough to take i peek. Little inspection mirror will allow you to see. also as a tip, if rocker...Leave a comment:

Just to follow this up. It was a freak incident where brand new $40 ATE check valve failed/felt apart internally and was rattling inside randomly opening/closing with vacuum pulses. And the noise was...

I've seen some claim OE is INA, Veico, Febi etc etc ...Even if it was the case, I bet all of them are using some different manufacturer now from when supplied BMW. There are so many different versions...Leave a comment:

i was able to source a set of OEM rockers for $40 each and their pad quality is best out off of all above mentioned. They come with eccentrics and new hardware as well. So $40 is not a bad deal. I ordered...Last edited by zaq123; 02-08-2026, 03:52 AM.Leave a comment:

sorry I didm't see your question.. Yes, that is the hole I used with the spring grommet. Also that spring is NLA so I was found Mopar/Chrysler clutch pedal spring p/n 2643705 that worked perfect for this...

this is what you need. Well worth a few dollars it costs. Take that tip off and touch the area of the engine with the probe to pinpoint where the noise is coming from
