FS: New ball joints and slightly used control arms w/CAB holders

I have a set (L/R) of control arms with bad ball joints. The arms have about 400 miles on them and I needed to take them off to do some front end work and I ripped the boots on the ball joints I got new ball joints and I was going to press them in. I never got around to it and just bought new arms altogether. You will also get the CAB holders with two bad cabs that will need to be replaced.

    This is what you get:
    2 control arms, left/right
2 CAB holders left/right (only one shown)
    2 inner ball joints (new)
    2 outer ball joints (new)

Looking to get $140 shipped. I don't want to let the ball joints go seperatly because you will need them to replace the busted ones in the control arms.

Look steel to me. Sorry but correct me if I am wrong, I have an impression that you can not change the balljoint on the CA.

You can replace them, or else they wouldn't sell them sperately.

        These are steel.

I did mine. It's hard, but for the price of this package, it's worth it. You do need a press though.

Yep, they are steel. A press in needed, but a shop should only charge about $40 for all 4 ball joints.

you can replace them, but good fucking luck doing it without a press, i have a ball joint press (hand held) and it wouldn't push them out, it just pushed the centers out, so i cut the outer cup with torches hammered it out, then reversed the ball joint press and pulled the new ball joint half way into the control arm, then put a jack stand under the ball joint and hammered it in with a 10lb sledge hammer.... caution fender. it can be done, but good fucking luck....

You can. A machine shop with a press will do both of them for less than $20.

Trying not to do this just yet because it is hard to sell only one.
