Please do, that black suede would be titties in my E28 since I'm doing a full color change anyways when I paint it... DS or bust!
Only problem with Suede/Alacantara that I've seen is the lack of stretch the material has. Seems to make it more difficult to sit perfectly flat, without creases, etc.
I would be interested in a group buy for a black cloth or suede. I've dyed my headliner black for now to hide it's "old" age but new headliner of course is the way to go :)
Does the headliner or foam backing has sticky backing to stick to the roof or do you have to glue all of it to the car ?

I couldn't agree more. Also, the suede can be very heavy, causing sagging issues. I've stopped doing suede ones, as it was hard to find something that was light, but also big enough and tough enough.

It is not sticky. A can of spray adhesive is your friend for this project!

I can attest to this. Do yourself a favor and go with cloth or something that is easier to work with. I wonder what Jordan used, he said it was lighter than stock.
I bump this because Robs stuff is very nice, just remember, the early model has the hole in the c-pillars, the late models do not.
