you use stock e30 tie rods right? or do you have to use e36 inners and e30 outers or are all tie rods the same and im just making things up?

I would like to know this too, I have a pair of brand new complete lemforder e30 tie rods.

You can use either e30 or e36 tie rods.
I'm using e36 tie rods simply because mine were shot and one of my e36 racks came with tie rods attached.
