Ok, a few noob questions for ya. I have an m20 in a 88 325ic. This system would let me remove my AFM, correct? I just run straight pipe and a filter from the intake boot? Then put an air intake sensor in somewhere in the intake? And I switch out the TPS to a variable one? Then I can tune the engine myself, essentially. This would nullify the need for a performance chip. So if add larger injectors, I can take advantage of that. If I add a turbo at some point, this takes care of my engine management for that? It can report fuel mix, etc.

Required fab work on my end would be replacing the TPS and splicing in new connectors somewhere? Adding an air intake sensor and splicing in the wiring. And I could just yank the gate from my AFM and have a nice, stock looking CAI, correct?

Sorry for noobness, just want to make sure I understand what I would have to do on my end, and what gains I would get from it. I figure the cost of your unit is similar to a new used AFM and a performance chip. And I will get more tuning options and better airflow. So far it sounds great.

I can make one for a Vanos m50, the only down side is the vanos circuit as it's more of an on off switch where you can set it to kick on at a certain rpm point and that's it, the factory vanos is a lot more advance. Some people have been able to tweak it to work better.

I haven't done any of those yet either, problem with the m10 setup is the trigger wheel would have to be custom fab by the end user.

You use the 325i 60-2 toothed main crank pulley, water pump pulley, and sensor. It all bolts right on

Were you running this setup on your s/c eta? And if so what were you using for the pulley/sensor setup?
