FS: E30 Koni Sports (Adj Yellows) Front and Rears

    SOLD

I have a comlete set of Koni Sport Shocks/struts that came off my '88 325is. The PO owner included these with the sale of the car. These were used on the car for autocross and trackdays. These are rebound adjustble only and the FRONT are top adjustable. The REARS are not top adj, only the fronts. The rears are of the type where you have to compress the shock and turn. Meaning you would have to detach the 17mm bolt from the lower rear arm compress and turn to adjust the rears. The rears have mounts attached to them already.

There is surface corrosion on the wear surfaces at the front mount, but nothing a good scoth brite pad cant remove. I really dont know how many miles are on them besides them being at least 4 yrs old. I was asking $300 but after inspecting them upclose and seeing some of the surface rust I figure I will drop the price to $200.

There are no leaks. I tried to compressed them and they are pretty darn stiff plus rebound fully.

I am selling the complete set for $200 given their current appearnce.

PM if interested or offers. Will consider trades for a 173 DME performance chip

I'm interested. Are they top adjustable all around?

If these are top adjustables then put me in line to pick them up, in case others dont go for it. Let me know a price shipped to 28214, thanks.

To me the rears do not look to be top adjustables. My new top adjustables have the exact same adjustment knob on top as the fronts do. And to me these rears seem to be different than the fronts

I just got done looking in the Koni site and have to agree with Mr. Atomic.

The rears are not top adj, only the fronts. The rears are of the type where you have to compress the shock and turn. Meaning you would have to detach the 17mm bolt from the lower rear arm compress and turn to adjust the rears.

The front are top adjusted. However I do not have the plastic adjustment knob tool.

Updated first post to reflect this

rcko I wasn't tring to run a sell for you but rather I noticed these and was going to tell a friend about them that was looking for some but then realized they were what I stated. Sorry if it hurt you selling them.

Dude, no problem... I was wrong to assume the top nut on the rears was an adj. No worries no harm done, If anything the correct info is out now
