    1995 e34 m50tu

The slush box in my '95 525ia has died. I have had the car for two years and it has always preformed well. Used Valvoline SynPower every 5k miles. Other than that an m50 has no maintainence. I will include a valve cover gasket, but it currently does not leak.

175k miles, runs perfectly, will come with accessories and since it is from an e34 it is pretty much ready to drop in. Will come with computer, but the chip has EWS so you have to either find a <95 chip or upgrade to a Turner or something- no biggy.

Comes from an automatic so no flywheel, just reuse your e30 parts.

$750, add $100 and you get m52 manifolds as well.

If no one buys this it is going into my '75 2002...

It is still for sale, Chuck wants it, but who gets here first gets it... unless Luke pulls through

Will this drop in to my 5-speed '91 318ic?

Well, you may want to check out the entire M50 forum devoted to those who have installed this engine in an e30.

You have a 4 cylinder e30 and you are asking if a 6 cylinder engine from an e34 will "drop in". Come on. Do you think it's going to bolt right up and the wire harnesses will snap right together?

                          I don't know. That's why I asked.

Will my flywheel, clutch & PP bolt on to an E34 M50 crank?

Does the 318 5-speed have the same bellhousing & bolt pattern as the M50 block?

Will my mounts work, or do I need some off a 1972 tii?

Is the 318 radiator large enough to cool the M50?

I have so many questions, and so little time. A good salesman would have these answers. :)

Thanks for the answers. I just wanted to know if they're a close enough match to justify digging for more info.

I might as well do an LS1 swap.
