That could definately cause some damage to the cats.

I'm not trying to insult, I just don't want to end up getting them, holding onto them for a good 6 months or more and then not be able to use them. The $100 bux would have gotten me a good $2 in interest.

I can't tell but are they in good condition? I'd be using them in a IX to attempt to make a stroker turbo combo so these are what I would use right?

I was a overly harsh in my last post and mostly joking, although at that price I would just keep them until I had a use for them.

The SETA pistons/rods are the best way to build an "i" stroker/hybrid without custom pistons in many peoples opinion. The pistons don't have any defects on them, but you will want to have the machine shop clean them up for you before reusing them like any used pistons. Also the machine shop will want to measure the diameter of the piston and match the bore to it as they aren't ever spot on 84mm. Depending on the blocks cylinder wear will determine if these pistons can be used or not, but its impossible to really speculate with certainty.

I didn't take offense, I actually thought it was pretty funny.

I would really like to get these but I guess the smarter thing to do is wait till I have the block on hand and go from there. To be completely honest, I'm not sure why I am not just going turbo now and avoid having to rebuild. I think I need to take a step back and not try to jump on every good deal I see.

I wish you the best of luck selling these.

        - just wanted to use this smiley.

I don't think it would be a bad idea to just start progressing your turbo setup now. Use the money to help get the car setup on a stand alone first and then start adding boost components from there...just my opinion.

I was going to go the Mark D chip route but MS would prob be a better idea. Not sure why I haven't researched that futher. For some reason I feel like the mechanic aspect of tuning is easier to do but maybe I'm wrong.
