    sorry, i've been busy with work, but you have an E30 don't you? same strut top for the E30, E36, E34. it needs to be 8-10mm thick. wouldn't be too hard would it? circle the same diameter of a factory strut top with a center bore in the middle the same diameter as the rubber bushing on the factory piece. holes in the same spacer drilled in teh same spot as the factory stud locations, but slotted would be cool for ease of fitment.

    i made a quick paint cad drawing, does this help at all? I'll try my best to take some measurements today/tonight

      ahh this makes a lot of sense. ya thats definitely doable, definitely a lot cheaper if there was a group buy.
