    well . . .

I am wondering if BMW2ner found out here, during the sale, that he got dupped when he bought it. Just a thought.

Only way to know is by digging up old threads to find something about this cover a long time ago. Not sure if it was BMW2ner or not selling or asking about it though.

After a little bit of searching it was Marakka that started a discussion about his valve cover with ALPINA lettering on it. He knew it was fake though, and stated it in his for sale post-

Check out post #16 , he bumped this thread when there was only a few hours left on the auction .

He could have responded then .

just look at his ebay feedback... that should say enough.

out of the last 6, 2 were negative, 2 were neutral.

"PRODUCT IS TRASH NOT EVEN CLOSE TO DISCRIPTION!!TOOK A MONTH TO GET ITEMS!!!F"

"Item recieved, but shipping took extremeley too long."

"the shift knob was ractive, not bmw ..took a month for me to recieve it .."

"had to contact pay pal to get item seller offer to make it right did not F- :("

Not by anyone here, but I'm not going to get involved from this end. If someone else wants to do it, I'd say go for it, but if the guy disputed it, he'd probably never get his money back. My responsibility is to deal with the guy peddling fake parts as authentic, and bending people over for them. And according to the feedback that's been posted, it's not the first time he's fucked someone with fake parts. So he's gone.

                I had considered it . . .

I had considered it, but had not contacted him. I went ahead and just sent him a message. I looked back over this thread and decided that he really did not try and defend himself and with the past history, I decided to do it.

I would bet money he bought it as real, but found out at some point it was not and decided to try and pawn it off on some other buyer for as much as possible.

He has a super deluxe website: http://www.ubmracing.com

Yeah, and no one forces people to unknowingly pay out the ass for reproductions of what they think are priceless works of art, expsensive watches, or designer clothes, but that's how the pieces of shit that fuck people over on a daily basis doing it make their money. The difference is that I can at least put a stop to them trying to pull that shit on the members here.

sounds like he was shilling it up. Anyhow he knew it was fake when he bought it, at least according to the thread he responded to by super J.

but anyhow... If someone actually wanted to pay 400$ for a valve cover I say let them. HP to $ ratio is phenomenal.
