FS: '89 M20B25 and Trans Socal

I am swapping it out for an m30, so I no longer need this.

Items are pulled and ready for you to pick up :)

    1989 m20b25 210k mi
    -Serviced every 3000-5000 w/ synthetic
    -Always fed high octane
-Rear seal leaks, no other known leaks
    -Timing belt done at 195k

    Getrag 260
    -Just added full redline fluid
    -Shifts smooth
    -Needs seal replaced

    $399 for both
    $250 for engine
    $150 for trans

Ideally I'd like to sell as a package, but make an offer anyways!
    Thanks

As for right now first come first serve...I will inform all when it is pulled and ready to go.

I didn't expect there to be so much interest, so I will keep you all updated.

I think it's fair to say the first person to offer the full amount for all parts and have fund in my Paypal or at my doorstep wins. :P Until then it will still be up for sale.

edit: I know it isn't the r3v way...but if someone wants to convince me with a better offer I'd gladly accept :)

Back up to the top...this thing is ready to go.

I also have some extra parts coming off the motor. Ask for parts you need, aka oil cooler, air conditioning, etc.

I want this engine and trans out of my garage pronto. Contact speedhop and make arrangements, please.

I can vouch for the engine and transmissions condition. I have driven this car and it ran like a top until it was removed just yesterday. The engine and trans make no noises or have any mechanical problems at all.

The engine and trans will need to be resealed. The transmission is bleeding from the detent plate and the selector shaft seal. But as a bonus the trans comes with the aluminum shift console and is equipped with a AKG Motorsport poly bushing.

In addition to Speed Hops engine and trans I also have a 82' M20B23 with mechanical fuel injection complete, backed by a 4 speed. This engine also ran fine. Comes complete with the mechanical pump unit and all hoses and fittings. I think the cold start valve and also the axillary air bleed are bad. This makes cold starts difficult but the engine runs strong. This belongs to a customer and I have to find out what his plans are for selling it. But if there is interest I will be sure to inform him. (Swapping in a 2.9L full of Metric Mechanic pistons and camshaft custom built by me :) )

                        Thread Hi-Jack :)
