AFAIK in mechanics it would be a replacement better than OEM but while you change this it's a good Idea to change the cam for a performance one...Comment

Oh boy...
First and foremost, forums rules state that you must post a price so please do that.
Then, moving on to what these springs do: Performance springs are used in conjunction with more aggressive cams to make the valves close faster then they would with the stock springs, eliminating "Valve Float" which is the leading cause of broken rocker arms on M20 motors. They're fairly pointless to have on a stock cam and you probably won't need them until you get into something pretty aggressive but once you go big they'll probably save your rockers arms. As far as management I'm sure you could get away with a chip but that's not my area of my expertise.'89 325is S50 Track Montser
