Alright... I held off on shipping todays orders on an important discovery. The 96-99 M3 racks are 3.5 lock to lock. They just are.

I will send PMs to everyone who has purchased...

No matter what, the racks are shorter than the E30 racks, but I have lots of 3.25 racks as well.

92-98 standard E36 racks. Not a bad price for a non m part.

weird, you would think that a non M rack would have a slower ratio than a M rack.

                  I believe 328 and 96+ M3 shared a rack...
I am still doing some research, because the 96+ M3 racks that I have are DEFINITELY 3.5, and yes they are DEFINITELY M3 racks.

I am 90% sure that my stack of 3.25 racks are from 325's.

So a stock e36 325 rack would be 3.25 turns, and the 96-99 M3 racks would be 3.5?

That would go against everything I've ever read/tested... I've had a rack from a 96 M3 (buddy wrecked the car), and it was 3.25 turns L2L. My 95 M3 rack in my eta is 3.0 turns L2L. I was drop shipped a rack from Eurodepot with a tag that said e36 325 that was 3.5 turns L2L.

That is straight from my pile of labeled steering racks.

                                :dunno:

I tested each rack manually, and that is what I came up with, I also compared the findings with the date stamp on the rack itself.
