NEW MOD! OBC temp sensors – ONLY $15.50 shipped

    GROUP BUY NOW HAPPENING!!!!

    LINK: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=110651

Aftermarket OBC temperature sensor **EASY INSTALL** – only $15.50 shipped! Works on both 6 button and 13 button OBCs.

Now, if you are anything like me, it’s embarrassing to have something broken on your car that is so easy to fix.
Until now, the cost of a new OBC temp sensor (about $80) kept all of us from doing it.

I’ll provide full instructions with each unit. But this has to be one of the easier fixes on an e30.

-Crawl under the car where the drivers side fog lamp is.
-Find your old non-working OBC sensor (or the plug if it is stock sensor is missing)
    -Cut off the plug
    -Attach with supplied quick connects
-Secure the sensor to the car, and enjoy.

    $15.50 shipped!!!

I have six available at this time. The next batch will have be done in a traditional group buy. So if you order today, your order will ship on Monday. Same GB price, just with out the wait!

I offer two forms of shipping

    - USPS first class uninsured w/o tracking. (Due to the lack of tracking, the risk of an error by the post office is on you.)

    - USPS Priority w/tracking – Arrives in 2-3 days, this is the preferred method of shipping. Add an extra $2.50. Let me know if you want insurance.

    My paypal is george.graves@gmail.com

BTW, I'll surely be using the money from this little mod to help fund my next mods for e30's. So everyone appreciates your support on this! Not just me!

Exactly. It's as "plug and play" as I can make it for everyone. You will have to splice two wires. I would love to provide a true OEM style plug - but they are imposable for me to source at a decent price.
            ,
I know some of you hate dealing with electrical things. And I don't blame you. But, this could not be easier. Once you have your head up under your front air dam, you'll be looking for one set of wires that are individually wrapped by the factory. One is brown and one is bright blue. I'll try to get some pics up to clear things up.

It's easier than installing a lighted shift knob, or HID's or anything you can think of. So don't be afraid!

Real OEM shows a different part number. With that said, the design of the obc's are almost identical. I'd be surprised if it didn't work. If it didn't it would only produce an incorrect temp reading. So if you wanted to try it, let me know. We could work something out if it didn't.

Do you know off the top of your head if this will fit in the ms mounting area? I remember looking at my friends m, and I think it was different. He wants a new temp sensor badly though.

You can mount it anywhere you want. BMW went insane over kill when they mounted it in the brake duct.

I'm assuming it will, but for others in case they want to know, will this work with late model 13-button OBCs?
