Hey, I got the part. Sorry I didn't check that email when I asked. Prompt shipping thanks a lot.

I do have a question though, I have it connected to the brown and blue wires using a twist wire connector, stuck both wires in and twisted it tight. It seems to be a good connection. But my reading is off, current temperature is around 85 and mine is stuck on 69. Just wondering if there are any thoughts as to what this could be? I don't think there is a short, when I connected the brown blue wires it read 136 and it said -22 with the old sensor. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.

I've sold over 60 of these little guys to far, and this is the first time I've ran into this. Have you tried driving the car? The two wires as they run down to the fog light area make a sharp bend. Feel up in there for a kink in the wire. If everything else seems normal, PM me and we'll work out a solution.

I do test each and every one before they ship to make sure they are accurate, so I doubt it is the sensor.

Will do. Maybe you can explain to me why you want to know your rear "axles temp" - I assume you mean diff - but regardless - please explain.

my 88 325i has obc.... the only thing that works is the time and stop clock the other readouts display AAAA...will the sensor still "work"

I wouldn't doubt if you sensors is broken, but the AAAA sounds like a broken OBC.
