    Feeler: Rear wheel bearing tool

I have to replace my rear wheel bearing, so I was thinking of buying the tool from Bavauto for $250 so I can fix my 1 rear wheel bearing.

I'll have no need for it anymore.

It will be used once, perfect condition.

Would anybody buy it for let's say.... $200 + shipping?

Frank, you would not believe what the tool that drives the tool truck told me...he said "$500 is the lowest I can go on that wheel bearing tool, they sell for triple that"

    I waved with one finger.

I will take my trailing arms in to get shit pressed in/out.

A friend loaned the tool to me ,so I've done it once before and it was a bitch, but I feel that I can get my money back with renting and possibly selling the tool secondhand after I'm done.

It'll take a couple of days to do it, but I think I can do it again.

I bought the B90 a few months back and it made the job a lot easier, well except for the seized drive axle on one side (due to bad wheel bearing). Well worth having one IMHO. And yes I would buy yours for $200 + shipping all day long if I had not already bought one myself. If you have several people you can trust close by that would need to rent it it might just be worth going that route as well. Either way you decide to go yes you should be able to recoup most if not all of your money over time. I think Bav auto recommends replace the backing plates since doing the job pretty much crushes the plates when tearing it down.

Is BAVAuto the cheapest place to get this? I figure if they have it for $250, we might be able to find it somewhere else.

I have a B90 that I rent out. Here is alink to a thread where I put my terms.

Ultimately, you are buying it from me for $250, and I'm buying it back for $200. I'll cut you a better deal if you buy the bearings from me.

Why do you do only 1 side? Think one side is rotate less than the other side? Sorry for dump question but I would change both at the same time. I am about to go out and rent the tool
