US Hella Ellipsoids w/brackets, bulbs, pigtails and trim rings
Absolutely everything you need for the conversion. Bulbs and pigtails included in this one.
No broken glass or cracked housings or brackets. Absolutely plug and play.

As a freebie, I can crimp spade tips to the ends of them so you don't have to cut any stock wiring harness, just insert spade tips into the sealed beam plugs.

    $135 SOLD

Nope. The other ones for $100 had a chip on the body of one ellips, they didn't have bulbs or pigtails. The chip didn't really affect anything but that was the reason for the discount.

There are no defects with these and it's actually still a discounted price since I'm basically giving you free bulbs and pigtails. (Add it up if you had to buy them yourself and you'll see)

you should also note that if you're buying these for a car that didnt' originally come with ellipsoids, you would need to jump your headlight relays

                Ummm, what?

I didn't jump anything. I added male spade tips to the pigtails, plugged them in to the existing sealed beam female light sockets. It's super easy because the color wiring on the pigtails matches the color wiring on the sealed beams.

As it is now my low beams turn off when the highs come on. Is that what you are referring to? It's an easy fix, no jumping relays necessary. I'll probably add a small jumper wire with a spade tip to the low beam's third slot (the one that carries power to the lows when the highs are on) and that'll solve it.

Not sure if anyone has any writeups on it but I needed I could snap some pics.

I'm confused now.....so could I easily hook these up or not? You say yes, this guy says no. What does "jump your headlight relays mean"????? I'm interested in these for my 86' 325e.

Thought you only had to jump your relay if you want your highs and lows on at the same time.

yeah that's what i meant, that's how the cars came from the factory, that's all i wanted to point out, i guess i should have been more clear, some more comas, but they will work, if you dont mind it being like that, sorry didn't mean to shit your thread Nomad

                            Why not?

Is it not sending power to the lows when the highs are on from the factory? I never bothered to check. Why do they even have the third wire then? Do non-us cars have lows on with highs?

Anyhow, you do not have to jump the relay if you want these to function as your car did from the factory with sealed beams.
Spade ends are crimped to the pigtails, you match up the pigtail wires with the wires on the factory harness and slide them into the factory headlight connectors. Done.

What Tony and nando is saying, that you can us these lights in a sealed beam car. It's just when you turn on the high beams. That the lows will turn off. That's where the relay jump comes in (very simple easy mod). When the highs are turned on, the lows will stay on also. And if the car has fog lights, they will stay on also.

Since the sealed beams on the the lows are dual filament, the extra wire can not be jumped to the high beam on the ellips. This will not work, i've tried it. Along with others on here.
