I've worked for a few aftermarket companies that shipped wheels. Make a box that is the same dimensions as the wheel diameter and 2 wheels thick. 2 wheels per box. Divide wheels with a piece of cardboard and thin foam. You may wrap the wheels in cellophane to prevent scratches to the finish. Place both faces towards the inside of the box. Should get there fine.

I believe you can buy 18x18x16 (or 18x18x18) boxes at Home Depots and Lowes stores. Using that size box I would put some styro peanuts in the bottom of the box followed by a square piece of cardboard to set one wheel on with the face facing inward. I would then fill around the wheel with peanuts to keep it from shifting around during shipment. Then follow it by another piece of cardboard or two to seperate the two wheels (both faces facing each other in the center of the box). Then repeat the previous steps around the last wheel. The key is to keep them from moving any during shipment and to keep them well padded. The cardboard seperation pieces make them the size of the inside of the box or just a bit smaller.Comment

Thanks for the info guys. So the consensus is to ship them in pairs. There's a Home Depot like 1 minute from my house so that's good.Comment

Thanks, but... meh. I want 16x7 to 16x8. And I'm not a fan of concave spokes. I can't stand them. Straight, flat spokes from center to lip is what I'm after. That curved shit is for FWD. LMK if you come accross another set or Alpinas.WTB: MTech II Body Parts. Cabrio main drive bar for power top. Front valance, bend free. Perfect leather airbag wheel. "iS" Lip, any color.

I've never put a lot of thought into why I like what I like, but what you just said I agree with.Comment

So far in my wheel buying life span it's allways been what I can afford vs. what I can deal with. I'm not "dealing" with wheels that I don't like any more. Everything gets gauged by the 'ol "rise 'o' meter." If it gives me rise in the pants, I WANT IT! 16x7.5 ALPINAS FTW!WTB: MTech II Body Parts. Cabrio main drive bar for power top.
