I wonder what it will bring at auction? Any one care to guess? 175K is a lot of miles for a top dollar E30 like this guys "appraisal" would imply he is looking for. You can buy a nice E30 M3 with less miles for similar money. I know the M Technic is rarer, but not neccessarily more desireable by enthusiasts who will ultimately set the market value....

I am subscribed to this thread and will keep an eye on the auction!
I wonder how good that paint job is up close and in person. Pics look good, but you never know....
Seller say's "he doesn't remember the badges" - I'll bet your explanation is 100% correct. The last 2 M-tech's on ebay were both high mileage as well - both silver - the one in KC was a no sale at $4900 & the one in San Francisco sold for $5200 the second time around. It will be interesting to see if it even hits reserve.

I sold my m-tech vert for $9k (mag feature car), and it had 162k miles on it. It was as clean if not cleaner than this one, with more mods, but only the appearance package. He should get 10k for this car, but any more is unlikely in this economy...

I paid 7k for my silver 5speed m-tech a couple years ago. It was perfect though, infact I knew the original owner of my car. Mine had 246k on it when I got it 2 years ago and now has 252k on it.
