    Intake for Verts

Are there any fitment issues with convertibles on these intakes?

to service the filter you remove carbon fiber housing and wash it just like a K&N.
these should fit verts with no problems.

I bought one a while back for an s50 conversion in a vert.
works great, great product. changed mounting a little.
will post pic's as soon as I get time to take them.

          thanks

I'd like to see the pictures. I've got a swap car and need a CAI solution.

                Nice fit.

                To the thread starter:

Is the filter in this kit oiled or not oiled?

Who is the manufactorer of the filter?

Are more kits going to be available?

                  Jim,
That swap is awsome. Notice any pwr difference with the new filter kit? How does it sound?

I just had a cone filter on it before. never really pushed
it till recently, wanted to put some miles on it first.

It sat a few years. as far as noise not noticeable with the
top down. But am very happy with the look and fit.

im curious about how in the hell you managed to fit that fan shroud along with that clutch fan.

the intake looks pretty nice though.

91 325i fan and clutch with fan mounted on back
of clutch instead of front. ( need to trim 1/8th in
off engine side of fan only in the vanos area)
at high rpm the fan will flex enough to touch
the nub sticking out from the vanos area.

the shroud is 94 e36 with a lot of trimming
                            and massaging.
