ok, thanks AC Nico. However, I never once mentioned anything about a "sport evo" in my posts. That was someone else....

thanks for the clarification and verification!

It does work in an e30, this is from the e30 repair manual:

Also shown in RealOEM under VEHICLE TRIM > INTERIOR BODY TRIM PANEL

AC Nico is correct in that this also works for an e28 so you may have some luck selling on the mye28.com boards as well.

        EDIT:

        More pics

I am shocked that BMW would offer two M technic deadpedals, with one of them also fitting an E28 with a different mounting point...sounds absurb but seems to be the case. Absolutely shocked. Is one an M Tech 1 and the other M tech 2 then?

Actually, this footrest has a different shape from the E28 one Nico sold. Perhaps it is an E30 only unit.

I am shocked as well. Never seen that pedal or anything about it before. I wonder what the story is about it.

I can make them. I'm not sure if I would use the same bump outs.

Pitty so many people had to jump in your ass about it! I have to say sheesh sometimes.

Buy it and copy it! Otherwise, that comment doesn't really belong here!

Now, now, we weren't trying to crap on the thread. Just wasn't expecting to see that pedal. Since we've never seen it before, we had to question it and came away learning something new. One things for certain, that must be a very rare piece. I have NEVER seen it anywhere before and I've seen a lot of E30's in my lifetime.

I have seen this before and can vouch that it is an authentic BMW part. It was an accesory catalogue piece from back in the day not ever put in a production car to my knowledge.

You may still be able to get it from BMW as I have never seen one sell for a ton of $ on the bay or any forum.....

The sport Evo dead pedals are another story...

                          Good Luck with the sale!

Just FYI guys, Senna knows what he's talking about. I've bought a couple things from him and he is very knowledgeable. He's not trying to rip anyone off. Bump for you Val.
