    Late Model Coolant Level Pigtail

Anyone have the connector and the 2 leads with enough length on the wires to tap into mine? Mine are beat and keep coming off triggering light on CP.

Connector connects to the level sensor on a late model 325i.

    Thanks and ready,

I had the same problem with my coolant lead. I used JB Weld to attach the lead to the coolant sensor. That’s been 2 years ago. Apply and allow to dry before driving the car. Hope this helps.

Guys, another option is to use the early (84-85) 325e coolant level sender with spade style connectors and convert the chassis side to match. The correct late model wire leads have unfortunately been unavailable for some time now.

Cut the connector harness off a junkyard car or get a new housing if your terminals are reusable. The female waterproof terminals are actually used throughout the car as well as E36/E46/E39 models.

^^^^Thanks Brutus. Clean part sent quickly from the other side of the pond. Appreciate you not cutting the leads close to the connector and including the sheath. Most would not think of that.
