i think he is trying to tell you that you can get the flow you need by adding an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator.

up to a point.. it's not a linear relationship. also going much higher than 3.5-4 bar on a system designed for 3 bar isn't a great idea.

exactly, i don't want to risk damaging anything from increasing pressure just to add a few lbs more flow.

I think an adjustable FPR is always a good tuning tool to have. I normally rate my injectors at 3.0 BAR as I'm basically an M20 guy and my twin cam car is going to remain stock. I don't know what you have a for an engine, but it's normally safe to raise the pressure by 1.0 BAR.

actually it's more of a way to screw things up. if you have standalone, there's no need at all for an adjustable FPR.

and anyway this is way off topic. just let the guy find his 42# injectors. I have some but he can't have them. :p

Nando, maybe only 10% of people on this forum will ever have a stand alone system.

I've been tuning cars for over 40 years and FPR is a good thing for all the rest of us to have. Just don't be stupid with it and remember what the other after-market parts are that you are using.
