i have one that i had replace in my car. it was getting hard to shift in 2nd gear but ended up being the selecting rod etc. Idk how someone would ship somthing like that. its not like its small lol

I do not think so. M42 has the same bolt pattern as an M20 I think.

There's one in the trunk of an '88 325 at the local U-Pull-It, not sure of the mileage, I think it was around 170k. If you're interested, I could go check it out and find out how much they want for it.
