According to realOEM.com, there are 3 part #s...

    up to 06/1986 (p/n: 26111225635)
    06/1986-09/1987 (p/n: 26111226210)
    from 09/1987 (p/n: 26101226425)

My build date is 03/1987 so I'm guessing nothing from 84 will fit.

Can someone with more experience confirm which driveshafts are interchangeable. Thanks

            Updated first post.

Really need the DS, otherwise I'll just order one from The Euro Depot in about a week or two.

I just stripped my 87 325e 5spd sedan i pretty much have everything to build a complete car but the car has 220k on it and i dont know whats already been replaced the only real ba things i felt driving it home 4 states was front suspension worn brakes worn steering rack shot and exhaust rotted. otherwise it was pretty smooth for having sat for a year. pm me a parts list.

I really don't want to get a DS with more miles than mine but thanks anyway.

Miles shouldn't matter much if it was taken care of. The fact that it came from/off an E is telling already as they are gutless wonders. I've got one from an '86 325es. Center bearing is toast, but I shit you not, it never made a sound. Ever. Car had 180,00 (give or take 3,000 miles). It's in great shape and removed. $100 + shipping.
                  Need a part? PM me.

Miles matter because I've heard of quite a few E30 drive shafts failing 200-250k.

I'm interested in the one you have but I'd like the VIN # or build date to make sure it's the one with the larger flex disc. I have an 03/1987 325e, so it's the 06/1986-09/1987 driveshaft part #

i have an ICV from a 87 i motor. i dont know if its the same one that the e motor uses. it is the L shaped one.

it was working well when i swapped motors due to a number of issues. the car idled well on 4 cylinders...

i also dont know how much they are worth. but if you send me a reasonable offer i wont refuse it.

I'll take a pic of my ICV one of these days and shoot you a PM then just to make sure it's the same. Thanks.

^^ I think mine's different. I'm all but 100% sure the connector is the one with 2 thicker, round prongs not like the one shown in your photo.
