    WTB: m20b25 PA/NY/MD/DE/NJ

Look for a good condition m20b25 for my track car. Needs to be in PA/NY/MD/DE/NJ area. It's going in a track car, so it needs to be solid. No smoke, no burning oil.

I'm also not paying $300 to ship a $300 engine. So if you're in CA, I'll pass, thanks anyways :)

    m20

    JG.....

my m20 should be out of car first wk in July.....e or pm me..we can talk.
Im 1 hr N of NYC....2.5 from Poco....

OOPS..MY BAD....ENGINE IS BEING REMOVED IN NJ!!!...ELIZABETH AREA..thats even better for you no?..

its a 123k engine....she's always run well....I may add .5 qt every 2 track days.....

new tb/thermo etc last yr ( 1000 miles)..valves always adjusted.....I have headers( which may be sold) and a CAI and a Markd 93 oct chip avail as well.....

    joel

    PS

I just read thru your m20 issues thread.......and I forgot to add my m20 has a custom baffle bolted into the pan! As I read more and more about tracked m20s, and how they have op issues on lt handrs, I looked into solutions. In the meantime as I was getting faster, my aftermarket VDO op gauge confirmed op drops during lt hndrs!...so in went a baffle that is widely used by PNW racers....NO MORE OP DROPS...at all.

I'd like to get something before then, but I'll definitely be in touch if I don't find anything.

I should be doing what you're doing (24v swap I assume?)

I will probably end up putting my spare 270k mile m20 in the car for now, then finding another good m20, or considering a 24v engine.

I do, but it's far from a track car. The cammed m50 is nice, but I'd like more torque and a broader powerband for track use.

I'd like a motor today if possible :) I really don't want to put the 270k mile motor in there. I'd like to find a nice m20 to drop in. But I also want to get back on the track ASAP, one way or another!
