I have used pressure plate and disk, brand new throw out bearing, and brand new pilot bearing.

$165 shipped for all 4 items.

ix has specific part numbers for pressure plate, but regular rwd stuff fits and works.

What does this mean? Does the clutch feel tighter in the IX?

it just has more clamping force. I don't think it makes that big of a difference though.

Trust me, the regular clutch works perfectly in the iX. I have first hand experience.
