not the sensor it self...but the wire that plugs into the diff
for a late model if it matters, and i ned 6-7+ inches if possible....
thanks...
Hmmm. . .. let me guess . . . your plug disintegrated when you were replacing the speed sensor and/or diff cover.
Mine did the same thing, and the same thing happened to a guy on the board who was trying to pull one off his parts car for me. After that I gave up, and just used a couple of generic connectors that fit perfectly over the speed sensor electrical couplings. It's not particularly pretty, but it works.

My OE lsd had spade connectors (those are available at radioshack), and my Z3 diff has round pegs. I managed to shove the OE harness plug onto it and they're still on. I'd go with the generic connectors, although I think you can get the plug at the dealer, and then assemble it with new wires.
EDIT: or what ^^^^ said.

I have some contacts with wire if that's what you need.
Typically, the connector housing gets very brittle after so many years of exposure to the elements and disintegrates under the slightest pressure. This is salvageable with tape and a zip tie.
If the wires broke due to vibration fatigue all you need contacts that fit with some wire.
