Is it possible to buy an already converted A/c compressor?

My old compressor went out and my lines are converted to r134 I was jw if i could buy one already converted?

What year is your car? Usually later model cars a/c compressor can handle both r12 and the new r134

1987 325is. thats what i Heard as well. The po had r134 conversion fittings idk about seals but the compressor lasted a while the bearings went out

buy fittings and just run 134. I did for and never had any issues

I have one that has been converted and has the correct seals. If you don't do it they usually leak too much for r134. PM me if you want it.
