        I have some excellent condition ix strut housings for sale with strut inserts but I believe the inserts are oem

              Just got an email back from koni. They quoted me $330 labor plus parts (up to $200) to rebuild and revalve their struts. At that price it would be cheaper for me to just buy new units from ground control. So konis are definitely off the table.

                      Hey man I don't know if this is worth anything to you, but you could have it for the cost of shipping + a couple of bucks for paypal fees.

                      It's an IX bilstein that worked alright but seemed to bottom out abruptly. Like if you hit a big enough bump it would be really rough. It feels normal out of the car now to be honest. It also has a marred part of the piston that I snapped a picture of. I don't know if it's of any use to you, but let me know either way.

                        I'll take it. That's actually only the body. The struts are inverted so the piston is on the bottom hidden by the yellow shell.
