    WTB: hardtop lock/pin assembly

Hi, looking for #2, the pin that you twist down into the body to secure it. Drivers side.

    Thanks!

man, i've been looking for one of them for years now. i ended up taking the plastic liner out of the metal bracket that hold the pin. (25 out of 5?) and then put a bolt in the bracket, secured it with 2 nuts, and then put a washer and bolt on top of the metal bracket in the top (#10) to hold the top on.

I'm sorry...read that 4 times and...wut? Genuinely curious, but just don't get it.

he basically bored the receptacle, stuck a bolt through it, and then uses a nut to secure the top to the bolt sticking up out of the car's sides. I think that's what he did anyway. That's what I would do if I couldn't get the part because I think they're a few hundred from the dealer :|
