just looking for a decent head cheap budget.

im sure anyone would love to buy a rebuilt head if they have the coin.

but 800+ on just a cylinder head that burns out just like other used ones if maintained well just isnt really a good deal imo.

rather spend it on other e30 goodies.

The heads I sell are $850 shipped for the cheaper option ($750 picked up locally) and are ported & polished with a performance camshaft and polished rocker arms. I don't think a used head with 200k compares...

im not trying to put down the work you & your buddy have in those heads. ive seen its very nice quality work.

its a great route & guarantee that your head is "brandnewish" because i dont think they make brand new m20 heads anymore & leave the cyl head labor to u guys "ready2go"

but if you find a used head "hot tank & its good cleaned & machined if needed yada yada" fitted with clips/rockers of choice etc. i just dont see it.

port & polish is where you have me, but camshafts&rockers can be had cheap.

assuming the buyer is a decent DIY'er with knowledge of upgraded parts.

not making this argumental since every1 has different opinions.

we all kno what is possible/do-able.

thanks REV for finding me a cylinder head.
