    WTB: 318i power steering pump

Hey everyone, I am in search of a 318i power steering pump for the m42 engine. I just recently bought a 318is power steering pump (thought they used all the same components bc of same engine) and I can't use it.

My original power steering pump has one outlet as the 318is has two outlets for the hoses. If you have a 318i pump laying around please let me know if you want to sell it. Thanks!

realoem has the pump for your car 32411141206 listed as being for both 318i and 318is, did you buy a early 318is pump for the m10 engine?

nope, it was a 1991 just like mine with the same intake manifold and everything else. What really puzzled me was that when I uninstalled the pump at the junkyard I had to detached two lines (in/return line) and mine one of the lines goes to the steering column and the other to the pump. I don't understand it.

alright I am an idiot, I guess I did buy the right one from the junk yard. I'll leave this thread up just in case the one I bought doesn't work or leak. Sorry to those who went out of their way to send me pictures.
