    WTB: Heater Core Valve...

I need one of these ASAP! I'll let this post chill for a day or two to try and save some money, but soon after that i need to just buy one from somewhere... Anyone got one layin around? I need to be able to drive my car without it overheating and flooding my cabin with fluids :( I would prefer one from an 88-91 :) Thanks

Just get the core as well. Price em out used. Rs4pro hooked me up with both for 40 shipped. Theyre like 150 bucks a piece new.

I think the heater core valve is something that should be replaced with new since its plastic and you don't want to replace it more than once, trust me. I bought mine from www.bmaparts.com, it was about $60. Its good for the piece of mind, its a pain in the ass to replace.

I think the core is a couple hundred dollars, and is a pain in the ass to replace. I don't know why you'd change it if only the valve was broken.

Well I took a look at the valve and it looks like 2 rivets of the 4 that hold it together broke out.. SO it must be the valve :)
