WTB: Vert power top parts

Need the top motor, plus all hardware for both the lid motor and top motor.
just bought an MT2 with nonfunctional top - won't even go down right now.

Don't bother it will break again. The shaft tends to shear on all power tops.

Is this the portion that is broken? When I had a power top I retro fitted a manual system to mine. It was far easier than dealing with the power top.

Thanks for the post! Yeah I know all that, and you're right. still gonna do it though, get the reinforcement plate from Germany etc.

There's a forum member from Indiana named Kyle that was at WindyCity BMW VintageFest about a month ago. His red 92 was absolutely perfect, including the power top. That's what I'm aiming for.
