Chances are your mast is damaged and that thats all you need to replace. Some have teeth others dont and they are fed in or out by the motor once you unscrew the mast base.

PO unplugged the antenna and its stuck at a up position. Gear seems to be ok as I can hear it grinding when I plug it back in. Antenna mast is bent at the way bottom about 20 degrees.
blackhawkimpact, I need to make sure it is working as a non working antenna serves me no use. PM sent barry!
