You can buy brand new ball joints and have them replaced as well. I just picked some up, inners and outters for $60 shipped.sigpic

Harbor freight has their 12 ton press on sale right now for $109. you can get all 4 ball joints you need from FCP Groton for $58ish (Meyle's = made in Germany) I think. So your sitting at $170 right there. If you went through one of the site sponsors and picked up the oem replacements which are great quality like Lemfoerder, you're going to spend $90 to $110 a side.
Nothing against the sponsors but when you buy all new control arms your getting what you already have but with new ball joints. if your control arm is fine, replace the bad part.
Scenario one gets you nice fresh ball joints.... AND, you have a new tool in your shop. Scenario 2 gets you the same thing but you don;t have the cool new press and you spent a little more.
Here is a link to changing them if you are unsure of how to do it.

Do what you must, but for sure do yourself a favor. Spend the money and get a quality product. Ebay control arms might be cheaper, but your still over paying for the Chinese junk they put in them. Look at this scenario.......

The Lemforders are $92@ so for an extra $30 its not a big deal..or get Meyles for $75 then its a no brainer....or make me an offer on my 100k OE CA's with new rubber boots AND new stock CAB's for less than the cost of new ball joints :)
