    WTB: Super eta harness.

Swapping a B25 from an 89 325is into my 1983 528e and I want to use the seta harness so it's all plug and play and I don't risk killing the wiring. Anyone got one?

I don't think it's going to do what you want. For one, a seta harness is the same as a B25 harness. also, your 528e is going to have a square harness plug, and any M20 harness that will work with that motor will have a round plug. You need to change it to a square plug or change the car to a round plug.

IIRC E28 seta harnesses are plug and play right off the bat, the E30 ones may not be.

your '83 is going to have a square plug. an '88 will have a round plug. it doesn't matter if it's an E28 or an E30.

and the E30 seta harness is the same as an '88 M20B25.

105 shipped, the super eta harness will work, you need the corresponding sensors off your I for it to work obviously, but you already know that.

So flash, the seta harness has the rectangular connector or circle?

rectangle, like the e24 and e23 (but smaller)

Its better using that harness than the e30 one with the adapter plug because everything fits where it should be since it came from an e28
