    WTB: Stock Headunit WITH code.

Like the title says. I do not have the code for mine, and a couple of the switches are broken on it anyway.

If you have a stock head unit with a functional tape deck and have the code for it, let me know what you'd take for it shipped to 41017.

I have one with the code but the deck is not great (it played about a month ago but the tape is now stuck) you can have it for shipping. Most likely 5.00.

It is the premium deck with the pyramid shaped 4 way switch.

Also it will be about 10 days before I can ship it.

That would work. PM me your paypal info. No hurry on shipping it.

You can pay me after I ship it. I'll email you what it was from L.A.

Want the amp too? same deal it'll most likely increase shipping by 3.00.

It worked 100% 12 or so years ago when the deck came out.

Why not. I assume mine is fine, but without the head unit functioning, I have no way of knowing.

slightly off topic, but is the code printed in the car somewhere? I know my honda's is. Just want to know If I pull one from a yard.

I don't think so. Typically, the code came on some of the original documentation for the radio that came with the car when new.

My car has tons of documentation, but not the code. :-(

                You got it.

Mine had a card My Dad saved everything else card is gone but he wrote the code in the manual. I wrote it on the unit.

VIN + Proof of ownership @ your local dealer will get you the radio code within 48 hours, free of charge.

Dave, make sure you're buying the correct HU.... the connections on the backs are different between some model years.

Thanks - I actually started down that road. My dealer actually wants to charge me for the code. And I still do not have the title. (Though it is not Scotty's fault at this point). An OG here with a "dealer hookup" offered to get it for me, but with the balance switch and the pyramid are broken, a replacement one is in order. I just want it for the radio for noise in the car, so nothing aftermarket is necessary.

I didn't know that about the connections, but my car is a 1990 as is Stefan's, so I am fairly certain it should work.

I've got an almost mint condition head unit with the original Anti-theft Code card, if you'd like. Tape deck works like a charm, IR slider also works great. I'd let it go for, say, $20 + shipping?

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

Why don't you call the dealer with your VIN and they'll give you the code. You may have to go down to get it.

He is not the owner of record and he has no title and there are broken items (did I leave anything out Dave?)
