Like ChrisM said...a late model rear apron is part of the body of the car. It is a LOT of work to get it mounted properly. It would be worth the $345 for the DTM piece and $200 to get it painted IMO. Even the bumper on post #4 would be a better option than cutting and welding a late apron on. I know it must be a huge undertaking to get one on...because I cut one out to sell it to someone who wanted to do exactly what you're wanting to do. I had to cut the piece and make sure I left enough metal so the guy that bought it could trim it to fit his car. I also sold him the bumper with it because shipping just the rear apron by itself will never work...it would get mangled during shipping.

Ok, maybe I'm not using the correct terminology, i want something like what dtm makes but cheaper, wouldn't mind used, etc. Not welding anything on. Should be a simple bolt on part from what i understand. Am i wrong?
