                  Put a pry bar between the alt and block. Pull back and tighten it down. Those teeth are for nothing. Hell, I grind 'em off my bracket.

                                  pelican parts has them...do you really think another 25 year old piece of metal that has been under tension will hold up better than the one you already have?
