Just got word from e30_dad that my cluster that I sent in for repairs has a bad SI board as well as the gauges board.

SO, I'm looking to swoop up your used VDO cluster with SI board, coding plug, SI carrier and of course the gauges.

You could send the cluster to me. I repair all those problems. I've repaired/refurbished close to 200 SI boards and plenty of cluster main boards. I've rebuilt lots of e30 clusters including the M3 cluster. I have full capability of fixing and testing any and all problems.


E30_dad is great at dressing up the cluster but I am one of the only guys in the USA that actually performs repairs and tests the clusters after repair.

It's not that he can't fix it; it's that I don't want to pay for those repairs. Tons easier and cheaper to buy a used cluster that works and call it a day on this project.

Actually, he doesn't actually fix the parts, he just replaces them with rebuilt or known good parts. He often buys these parts from me. I can actually repair those damaged, burnt, and non working parts at minimal cost. Used clusters will have the same problems, trust me, I see it daily.

Think about the costs related to trying cluster parts over and over until you have, if you ever achieve, a working cluster. You don't know how many times I've had customers come to me who have tried 4-5 clusters and swapped many parts only to have the same problems come back weeks or months later.

Buying a new Si board and cluster main board can easily cost you $400 from vendors such as Programa. But I can repair the cluster, using all original parts for half that price or lower.

It is my company goal to provide the most cost-effective outlet for my customers to get their cluster's working 100%.
