You can use e36 m3 master cylinders on ix boosters. I ran a ix booster e36 m3 MC setup on my 24v e30 and it was awesome. Speaking of which I have one or two really good condition MC'MC's. Pm me

so, the E36 M3 master is the same as the iX? I ran into an issue with an E34 master because one of the two fittings was M12 and E30 runs two M10 fittings.

I will be running a remote reservoir, the top of that master looks considerably different from the iX Mastercyl. have a picture of it without the reservoir on it?

That's because you had a late model e34 master. The early ones have both the lines at 10mmx1.0 - NV m50 e34 for sure does, just used on on an e30 swap with an ix booster.
