For the rears all you need is the hubs and calipers. The rear control arms are the same as a regular e30. Hubs can be bought from BMW for about $200 ea. I am doing the same for my track car. I have an 88 M3 that I compared the parts with and I believe RealOEM.com shows the same part number, below

      M3
      08Trailing arm, leftD=91MM109/198533321137641$1,058.14
      08Trailing arm, rightD=91MM109/198533321137642$1,058.14

      e30
      08Trailing arm, leftD=91MM109/198533321137641$1,058.14
      08Trailing arm, rightD=91MM109/198533321137642$1,058.14

This is the best way to do the 5 lug, but the hardest (finding the fronts is the hard part) not from the installation but aquiring the parts. The fronts are the first thing that I found several years ago just have to buy the rear hubs, I have the rear calipers.

as another option. there was a guy that made a 5 lug set. it was made up of e30 m3 parts and he had the rear machined new with adapters for e46 brakes. i will look for the thread.

Thanks for the help, but I am not interested in any options, or short cuts or adapters. I need full E30 M3 5-lug swap. Nothing else will be considered.

The kickass option is an MZ3 rear with E30 M3 front and a brake upgrade. Under that scenario, you might just buy the front strut housings new from BMW. That also gets you away from the NLA parking brake components.

                  You are correct.

Hubs, bearings, brake dust shields, rotors, calipers, caliper brackets, and complete e-brake assemblies are all m3-specific. Pretty much only the trailing arm itself works.

                      e30 m3 5 lug

I do have a set up available, however before I sell it, I will need to source a 4 lug to be able to roll the chassis around. I'm hoping to source a set in couple of weeks.
